Interests

Patty and I are enjoying our mostly empty nest. Nathan graduated from Mizzou in May ’22 and immediately joined Syntegra. Nate is now a licensed Private Wealth Advisor with the firm.  He is the 3rd generation financial advisor in the Burke family and is the 3rd generation advisor within Syntegra.  Alayna will be a 3rd year student at Mizzou and for now is studying PT.  She is multi-talented, published a book in November ’22 regarding her struggles with an eating disorder (“Full” on Amazon) and is instructing at Barre 3 in St. Charles.  We still have fun traveling together and being adventurous (Paris and London in ’22).  I enjoy golf and fly fishing and Patty enjoys her time with friends and keeping us all in line at home.  We enjoy talking with clients and keeping in touch often.

    Award Disclosures

The Forbes/SHOOK Best-In-State Advisors list spotlights more than 4,000 top advisors across the country. Each advisor was nominated by their respective firm, then vetted and ranked by SHOOK Research.   SHOOK Research evaluated candidates on five criteria:  in-person interviews, industry experience, compliance records, revenue produced, and assets under management.  The award may not be representative of any one client’s experience.  The award is not indicative of the investment advisor’s future performance.  The advisor does not pay a fee to be a recipient of the award.

Barron's Magazine Top 1200 Advisors in America are chosen based upon a proprietary methodology consisting of three major components: assets under management, revenue generated for their firms, quality of service and regulatory records. Investment performance is not an explicit factor, because audited performance records are not available. Total assets are all assets overseen by the adviser's team, including some that are held at other institutions. The rankings are based on data provided by individual advisors and their firms. Advisor data is confirmed via regulatory databases, cross-checks with securities firms and conversations with individual advisors. No compensation was received from participating firms or advisors. This ranking is not indicative of the advisor's future performance.

The Financial Times 400 Top Financial Advisors is an independent listing produced annually by Ignites Research, a division of Money-Media, Inc., on behalf of the Financial Times (April 2020). The FT 400 is based on data gathered from advisors, broker-dealer home offices, regulatory disclosures, and the FT’s research. The listing reflects each advisor’s status in six primary areas: assets under management (AUM), asset growth, compliance record, experience, credentials and online accessibility. This award does not evaluate the quality of services provided to clients and is not indicative of this advisor’s future performance. Neither the brokerages nor the advisors pay a fee to the Financial Times in exchange for inclusion in the FT 400.

Ameriprise awards based on verified production, compliance, length of service and client service requirements.
